Located in the village of Kings Park, the Butler-Hughes Funeral Home occupies the nearly century old Stattel family home and has been a funeral home since 1962.  Formerly the Sullivan and then the Hughes Funeral Home, the stately dutch colonial building boasts a warm feeling of being in your own home.  Mr. William J. Butler, owner since 2003, has made extensive renovations to both the interior and exterior of the funeral home.  The funeral home has two large chapels that open up into the largest room in Kings Park seating 100 people and has the most off street parking with the addition in 2005 of the expanded parking area in the front of the building.
